Made in Estonia!
This is truly NOT made in China! As a regular consumer who tries to shop ethically I despair at how many items that pretend to be made in Europe have that ominous stamp on the box. So MADE IN ESTONIA made me feel overjoyed and I am so happy to support that part of the world, especially now. As for the actual water filter jug - it's neat, it's simple, and look forward to drinking water with a smile.

Better than Brita filter. Get one
5* all around. Seriously. I previously had the Brita filter and what a nightmare that was. To open and close. I literally slapped and punched it closed for the last two months. I went looking for a new one and obviously saw this. I loved how it’s flip the lid and refil. And you can pour out the water lovely and steady. (With the brita, you had to pour it over the sink otherwise you were getting a puddled floor)The weight and shape is fantastic. Fits in the fridge easily. And the filters are good money. Oh yes!!! It’s quick to filter through and goes cold quickly aswel (brita one took ages :()

It’s not perfect but does the job.
I live in a street that’s still getting built well streets. Well the company went into administration just at the beginning of the year which is not great news so everything is at a standstill unless someone buys the company etc. However you’d think that I would have the best water considering I’m right next to a forest with a nice flowing river oh and the house was constructed in 2020. Eh no. However when I first moved in last April I noticed that I was getting a funny smell running the water and put it down to the place being unoccupied. It wasn’t until my partner moved in he said he could smell something without me saying anything. I thought well everything has to be up to standard. It wasn’t until a couple of months ago I had black bits round my shower hose - you know the bits I mean, I did wonder why my newly built power shower had lost its oomph (I have now had to order little sticks to try & get it back to the way it was) I might even invest in one of those filter shower heads I don’t know yet. What I did know was if the water was doing that to my shower what was it doing to my insides. I was plagued with uti’s and I barely go for a wee which is not good. My fridge freezer is small so I needed a compact one and this one here fit the bill. I did choose the cheaper model at least I expect I did as there no supported rubber for the bottom to prevent slippage or the indicator that’s stated which tells you when it’s time to top up. The manual does say depending on your model. However it does say in the instructions that the refills last up to 2000 litres of water or 3 months it depends on your water intake. It’s claims of not spilling is not true. In fact I had to refill big open wide bottles and even cups. My gripe also is they could have made it little bit bigger in length as once it’s filtered through it’s definitely not 2 litres only until you fill it up completely. However my reasoning is that the holes at the top of the plastic filter should also filter the top as most things settle to the bottom eventually even if it’s not running right through. One perk is that it doesn’t take long like other brands to filter through at all. So I have given it 4* just because of the mess Lucky my fridge isn’t to far from my sink. It also has a easy to open flap. I do have those filters that fit on your tap to but the beads haven’t went down and I got it from a very cheap site. So at least I know my water is being properly filtered now. I don’t have to replace it once a month but I might let it filter all the way through. I definitely need a water testing strip also my partner just lived 20 minutes away and he’s never had that wrong with his water. Even though I’m with a housing association a new rule put in place that is when new homes are being built some of the houses need to be allocated to those with a lower income than others next time those rings fill in with black muck I’m keeping it as evidence instead of draining it away. That way I can take it to my housing association. You get what you pay for and it’s sturdy. The handle wasn’t attacked you have to slide it in and no problems there. If I run into any problems like me wanting it full to the capacity so I know how much I’m drinking and also to give it time to chill. If I left it down before the filter the next time I wanted a top up it may not be as cold as I want it. Maybe someone can verify that when I refill it overnight that it’s still getting the impurities out, like I mentioned above. Oh and I will also point out it came with the newest filters the provider has. I even use it to top up my cats gravity water bottle and she’s drinking out of it more than ever another plus as kitties need help with moisture as they don’t drink enough & often need help in that department. Cats have a keen nose. So she must see a improvement. Had I not had the smell and the black shower rings I would drink straight from the tap. Also the fact that I can change it every 3 months means less waste. I’ve been supplementing my fluid intake with soda which isn’t healthy at all. So I really needed one.

Great value
Lightweight and compact, fits easily into our small fridge. Tastes better than tap water, lovely to have chilled water in this hot weather. Will see how long the cartridge lasts but so far so good!

Perfect for family of 1-2
Super cute fits great in my small fridge. I wish it was a little bit bigger but it fills my large water bottles to the max. Super convenient for a 1-2 person house hold.

Particles inside the filtered water 😬
Followed the instructions to a T. However, there are black filter particles inside the jug, in the filtered water. How dangerous is that? So I’ve requested to replace it with another one - let’s see if that ones any better 🤞Update: Replacement jug arrived, and though there still are particles inside the jug, it’s considerably less than the first one I received. Also, I did some research & it’s totally harmless to consume those filter particles - so it’s safe to drink. Happy days 🙂

Happy customer!
An in-expensive jug, doesn't take up too much fridge space which I enjoy. Easy to assemble. I was worried about the handle and not feeling like it'd be sturdy enough, but once I put it together, it all fitted perfectly and I felt secure in holding the handle. No problems what so ever. Inexpensive, so I'd definitely recommend! Holds a fair bit of water and cleans it very quickly.
