Why did you pick this product vs others?:OMG. Always wanted one and they put them on sale, so got one. Had about a week and having so much fun. Easy to get started and use. You are limted on cutting, but can engrave on most items. Multiply software options for controlling the engraver. Follow directions and you will be engarving instantly. Might want to get some extra material to engrave on if you do not have scraps laying around. The little discs in the photo are about 3/4 of an inch. Will engrave pretty small and still be readable. Only problem is now I am hooked and will be ready to upgrade to a bigger and stronger machine. Great for a entry level laser cutter to see if it is something would enjoy.

Love it, still working good after several months and over 1000 cut outs of 1/8 inch plywood! So well in fact, that I bought another one for when this one eventually wears out!

Works really well. I have no complaints it does exactly what it advertised

Works great, software easy to use. Can only do small projects so would upgrade if needed to do a larger project

The media could not be loaded. I gave five stars not knowing the longevity of this unit but the plug and play, literally, plug and play, is what this technophobe was looking for and judging on.Within 5 minutes of having it set up I was engraving my logo. Within an hour I was engraving bricks.I bought this to see if it was possible to do what I had in mind on a larger scale.I absolutely will be getting 20 watt fiber in the near future but I'll keep this for quick prototyping.
