These pants are even better than expected! I've been wearing them weekly now, under all sorts of weather conditions, for the past couple of months. I was looking for a lightweight, stretchable, waterproof and breathable pair of pants. Those are the qualities that were advertised, and at the price offered they'd be a bargain if they delivered, and they have big time! The sizing was spot on, and for the price, they can't be beat. I'm especially impressed with the little details that went into the design, such as the internally mesh lined cargo and front pockets, as well as the heavy duty fabric loop which connects the button to the pants. The same goes for the heavy duty and extra wide belt loops, and their placement. I wear my keys on a carabiner attached to the front beltloop. With these pants, the belt loops are further off center than belt loops found on most pairs of pants. It's a much smarter location, so your keys don't go smackin you in the nads inadvertently. Another major bonus is the location of the cargo pockets, which are located more towards the front of the thighs, than on the side of the legs as with most cargo pants. This location seems to make the contents of the pockets stand out less, and therefor less bulky and apt to bump into stuff as they would if the they were located on the sides. The zipper closures on the cargo pockets are also superior to the standard velcro closures you find on most cargo pants. And the pockets are roomy enough to fit my cell phone, smokes, or my wallet, no problem. The pants are very water resistant, and airy. They're a great deal, and i would not hesitate to buy another pair when and if this pair wears out. My five star rating applies to company just as much to the pants themselves. I had issues with another product I purchased from Free Soldier, and the company was very easy to deal with to make things right! These pants are the third product I've purchased from Free Soldier(these pants, boots, and a pair of fleece lined snow pants), and I am more than happy with the products and the company itself, a well-deserved 5 stars all around.

I first got two of these in 2021, and still wear them. I ordered three new pairs in 2024; they seem slightly different now in design but still nice and comfortable. I ordered three identical sizes but one was an inch longer than the other two in both inseam and waist. Also the belt loop design remains the same, they really need to fix that. It's very hard to thread the loops on these.the pants are otherwise comfortable and the ones that were the proper size fit well and feel good. I like that they are waterproof to a degree (the water beads at first, but once the rain really comes down and covers them they will eventually soak through).

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Thailand to specifically visit Temples and other sacred places. I needed something lightweight with zippered pockets to secure passport and wallet. These pants worked great! Even though it was warm, these kept my lower half comfortable via the breathable fabric. They felt durable and I had no issues with the zippers and securing items in my pockets. They packed easily in my luggage and the drying quickly aspect of these pants came in handy when hanging them up to dry and airing out odors after wearing them numerous times. These are great traveling pants that also look pretty good. This pants have exceeded my expectations - thanks!

The best outdoor activity pants Ive ever had. Super comfortable even when its blistering hot. They shed water well, but will eventually wet out. If they do it isn't a problem because they dry so fast. In the winter they also work as a top layer. I'm 6'6" I normally wear 34w 36l and the fit was great. I would recommend these pants.

These are great! Fit well, belt is good enough, didn't think too hard about the side pockets being on the front but fits my wallet, keys and S24 Ultra between both with no issues. In the hot Florida sun, these are very effective and have me complaining a lot less. Very happy with them and would recommend to anyone whos back n forth or just outside a lot. Great pants, great value. 100% worth it
