I wanted to love it
When I was a kid, there was a game called Tornado Rex that I loved. They don't make that game anymore, but I heard this was comparable. I honestly found it challenging to learn, being that there were so many instructions. It also takes a long time to set up. I prefer games that have quick setup and easy directions. Not for me.

Sturdy unwobbly tables wanted
The good, a fun game that will get your competitive spirit going and harkens back to the originalThe not so good, print quality of the spaces is lacking, making it hard to define spaces even for the young eyed players.the multi-part vacuumform island means more often than not your marbles end up stuck in a crease vs cascading down the paths to squish your opponents. The slightest nudge to the table will send marbles careening everywhere as their perches are precariously shallow so you're going to be resetting the game a lot.

Don’t do it.
Don’t do it. There is no nostalgia here. Hard to set up, cheap, and super complicated rules that weren’t in the original. This is terrible product.

Different game play than the original
A friend of mine has the original and we had a great time playing on night, so I decided to buy this remake to play with my family. I knew the quality of construction was in line with todays standards (cheap and flimsy), but I didn't realize that they changed the way the game is played so much.In the original version you move your player by rolling a die and you gain action cards by landing on locations. You can then hold the action cards to do various things in the game which makes the game strategic and exciting. In the new game you draw a card for your turn, and you get one of like 5 different cards that include both how many spaces you can move and the action to be preformed. It is still a pretty fun game, but pales in comparison of the original.
