House Repair Due to Woodpecker Damage
This was the second try, as I had previously purchased the 12 x 18 vent panel. However, the return was seamless, and I purchased the 14 x 20 vent. It fit perfectly, and I used liquid nail and caulk to hold it in place. Forutnely I had a 26 foot extension ladder. It was pretty high.

Did the whole job from the attic?
Installed it today use liquid nails to secure it. Will check in a week or so to make sure it stayed stuck in the hole. I did the whole job from the attic and never put a ladder on the outside of the house.

I opened the packaging of the fan, but found no installation instructions. There was only a user manual, which contained diagrams showing the installation position of the fan and safety warnings.

IT IS NOT 14X14 (ACTUAL 13 5/8 X 13 5/8)
The size of the vent is NOT 14 inches. It is actually 13 and 5/8 (10/16) inches.Interior of the item is also 11-5/8 inches.Sometimes, I just wish manufacturers and retailers would actually tell the truth rather than round stuff up. This makes life a pain in the butt when you don't give the right size. Now I have to adjust some stuff just to make it look right.On the flip side, the vent is sturdy, and cost should be reduced because of false advertisement.
