I travel a lot, and I was tired of having limited room in my suitcase because of a pillow. This pillow is less than half the width, which makes it just wide enough to side-sleep on comfortably.I cannot speak to the longevity of this pillow, but I have owned multiple full-sized Harmony pillows and love them. I am a pillow junkie because of neck and back pain caused by degenerative disc disease. I have a closet full of premium pillows, but only three go-to pillows, and 2 of them are Purple Harmony.Typically, they last about a year before the stuffing loses its form and gets too soft. I believe that will be the same here. For the price tag, it does make it a hard sell unless you need a good pillow and don't want half of your suitcase taken up by a standard pillow. I am hoping this lasts longer than my others because I will use it less.This pillow is almost the same height as the standard medium pillow, maybe slightly shorter. For comparison, I have found the low is perfect for supporting back sleeping on a soft to medium-firmness mattress, and the medium is my go-to for side sleeping on a medium mattress. The tall pillow only works for me on firm mattresses for side sleeping.You will want to spend another $30 and get the case to keep the pillow free of allergens, dirt from travel, and whatever else is in the hotel.

I LOVE this pillow. It keeps my neck in great shape while I travel. Do yourself a favor and get the travel case for it too (Purple has them).

The Purple Harmony pillow is my absolute favorite. Everyone, including my kids, have their own. The pillow maintains its shape even after 2 years of owning. I recommend the medium pillow height for a back or stomach sleeper and the high pillow height for a side sleeper. I have both for when I alternate my sleeping positions.

Brought this on a 3 week trip to Europe. Very comfortable, helped my back a lot on the long plane ride and trains. I have problems with thin hotel pillows or even worse, super fluffy pillows that get hot, sink down, and cover the sides of your head. This was a perfect replacement for crappy hotel pillows, I used it the entire trip, even at the nicer hotels. Got the travel case and it rolled up nicely and clipped on my backpack.

I wasn't sure this was a good purchase. I didn't realize the purple part is just a mesh like a hair net (Google that) that surrounds the latex foam. It feels very bouncy. However, I like it. It doesn't lose its shape, it supports your head and doesn't need to be fluffed up. The reason for 4 stars is the price is to high.

I thought this would be great for road trips and sleeping in hotel but it is much to small.

I can't give you enough of a warning on this. We bought full size Purple pillows, then we couldn't sleep on guest beds or hotel beds without taking those along. Then we bought the mattress and now nothing else sleeps quite as cool or quite as well. So now we have travel pillows.My wife's neck doesn't hurt at all anymore. My pillow stays comfortable. My dog puts his head on the other end of my normal pillow. Give it time for you to adjust to it, you're not used to this, a pillow you actually want to sleep on.So yeah, as far as this specific product? This is a must because of the other products. But it's a lot smaller in size, so you'll have to learn how to sleep in a bed a little differently with it. It's a great size for flight, train, or bus/car napping though.
