great trainer
I purchased 2 and the quality is consistent. Very good. Stong. The textured grip is very aggressive and easy to hold on to. I am impressed. I got these on sale and are an excellent value.

exactly what I expected
Well made and sturdy. This is mean for training which in my case is working on forms or kat as part of my exercise routine.

Overall a good training Item
The texture on the grip is much too aggressive for my liking, causing friction burn during even short training. It's much more pronounced than the live blade version of this item.Solved this with a little grip tape and it's now flawless. I can train for hours and it holds up to anything reasonable I ask of. It is excellent not just as a trainer for the live blade version, but a great trainer for Kukris in general. I expect it to hold up to years of use, which is a fantastic value for what you are paying.

I love these. My son loves these. So freaking heavy and sturdy and wieldy. He can swing it around with some force and it has a good weight to it.

These are the perfect replicas of the amazing kukri made by cold Steel. Sturdy enough for regular training and built to accommodate most rigorous training requirements. A great purchase at an affordable price point.

Has held up in heavy training!
As a martial artist/instructor these are some of my favorite weapons. I purchased two of these and they've both help up very well. They've stood up against all other training weapons they've been put up against. They have good grips so they won't slide out of your hand and the plastic is very solid so no breaking. They might still hurt if you get someone just right with them... but not fatally at least... ;)
